The CSPI (Comprehensive School Programs Initiative) Program is a dedicated service aimed at providing schools with nutritious and delicious breakfast and lunch options tailored to the needs of students. This program is designed to ensure that every school community has access to high-quality, balanced meals that support health, learning, and overall well-being.
- NUTRITIONAL CONSIDERATION: Each day provides a source of protein, carbohydrates, and either a fruit or vegetable to support a balanced diet.
- FOOD PREPARATION: Breakfast and lunch meals ar e prepared daily at a central kitchen facility.
- FOOD DELIVERY: Meals are transported to the school in the morning on a scheduled date using insulated containers to maintain appropriate temperatures.
- STORAGE: Upon arrival, meals are stored in warming units or coolers as necessary un til serving time.
- DISTRIBUTION: Meals are served & distributed by school staff in a designated area, such as a cafeteria or multipurpose room. - OR IN BINS DESIGNATED FOR EACH CLASSROOM
- INVENTORY MANAGEMENT: The central kitchen facility provides meals & quantities based on a scheduled amount. They ensure meals are prepared and delivered according to the school’s delivery schedule and needs.
Snack Cart Program: Convenient, Nutritious, and Classroom-Friendly
The Snack Cart Program is an innovative initiative designed to ensure students have easy access to healthy, pre-packaged snacks throughout the school day. By delivering snacks directly to classrooms and providing them through bins during meal times, this program helps promote healthy eating habits, improve focus, and support the overall well-being of students.
- FOOD DELIVERY: Pre-packaged food items are delivered weekly, providing a consistent supply of fresh, nutritious snacks tailored to the school's needs. Deliveries include a variety of dry goods, refrigerated items, and fruit bins, ensuring students have access to wholesome food options during snack and meal times.
- STORAGE:Food items are stored in secure, designated areas such as storerooms, pantries, or classroom cupboards to ensure safety and organization. These spaces are selected to preserve freshness and quality while restricting unauthorized access. Proper labeling and inventory management streamline stock tracking, enabling staff to efficiently access and distribute snacks during meal times.
- DISTRIBUTION POINTS: A designated individual organizes and prepares bins for each classroom, filling them with pre-packaged meals or snacks. These bins are placed in easily accessible classroom locations, enabling students to quickly and efficiently grab their meals during designated times. This streamlined system enhances meal distribution while promoting student independence, as they can access their food in an organized manner without requiring direct supervision.

Two for $2 Voucher Program: Nutritious Options at a Low Cost
This school voucher program is designed to provide students with
nutritional options from a predetermined menu, facilitating a structured
and budget-adherent method for distributing food. Schools are allocated a
set budget tier, and students receive vouchers to exchange for food items.
- PROGRAM GOALS:
- To ensure all students have access to nutritious snacks or meal components throughout the school day with a budget that stretches for the whole school year
- To manage food resources effectively within the budget constraints provided.
- To gather data on food preferences and consumption patterns among students, which can help in tailoring health and nutrition programs.
- To break down barriers in food security by ensuring everyone can come to the cafeteria for a purchase.
- VOUCHER VALUE: Each voucher allows a student to redeem any two items from the menu. This voucher cost includes the labour and administration of the voucher program.
- VOUCHER DISTRIBUTION: Vouchers are provided to school staff monthly, based on the school division's budget. Staff distribute them to students as needed, either directly or through classroom teachers. Each month's batch is intended for use within that month, with a new batch provided every month, allowing for flexible distribution.
- REDEMPTION PROCESS:
- Students redeem their vouchers at the cafeteria.
- Each voucher can be exchanged for any* two items from the menu. It is encouraged to choose 2 different items since the program is meant to create some balance.
- Cafeteria Staff collects the voucher and hand over two menu items to the student.

- WEEKLY DELIVERIES: We can arrange a 1 or 2 scheduled deliveries weekly to your daycares depending on your order volumes and needs.
