We are a not-for-profit organization based in Winnipeg, MB, dedicated to uplifting our community through comprehensive food service programs. For more than 50 years of operating school cafeterias, our mission has remained steadfast: to provide meals that both satisfy hunger and address students' nutritional needs. As part of our continuous effort to improve, we regularly innovate our menu to include wholesome and nutritious options that appeal to children. We aim to create meals that are not only healthier but also more attractive than the fast food often marketed to young people, which frequently prioritizes profit over health.
Our ultimate goal is to combat food insecurity, a problem that affects far too many young people. We recognize the critical importance of ensuring that children have consistent access to nutritious meals, especially when they are away from home. As parents and community members, we share the desire to instill in children a habit of making healthy food choices that support both physical and mental well-being. Our Program supports schools with the proper storages for each food, mobility and delivery of stocks, monitoring of quality for consistency, automated inventory, and maintaining par stock levels - to prevent risks, shortages, spoilage and other problems that may arise during the implementation.
